DEPOK – On Wednesday (22/1), International Undergraduate Program (Kelas Khusus Internasional) FEB UI held send-off ceremony for students who are going for exchange program to university abroad next even semester. This ceremony was also attended by students’ parents.
Mr. Isfandiary Djafaar, M.Soc.Sc (Head of International Undergraduate Program) and Mr. Irfan Syaebani (Head of Pusat Kegiatan Mahasiswa FEB UI) were giving opening remarks at the beginning of the ceremony then continued with sharing session by senior students who had student exchange experience in the previous semester, delivering message by representatives of students’ parents, and announcement for scholarship awardee and students with highest GPA for last 5 semesters.
There are 91 students sent to university abroad, 12 of them are dual degree students and 79 others are single degree students. The universities abroad are University of Birmingham, Radboud University, Korea University, Hanyang University, University of Queensland, National University of Singapore, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Manchester, University of Groningen, Vrije Universiteit Amstaerdam, Rotterdam University of Applied Science, Technische Universitat Darmstadt, Monash University, University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Seoul National University of Science & Technology, Yonsei University, Ritsumeikan University, Sophia University, Peking University, Mahidol University, and University of Malaya.
Some of the students are awarded Erasmus Plus and other scholarships given by University of Queensland.
