FEB Journal

There are 10 journals at FEB UI, three of them national journals accredited as “B” by the Directorate General of Higher Education  (DIKTI). Efforts continue to improve their management to gain and maintain accreditation. Below is the list of periodical scientific publications at FEB UI :

Scientific journals facilitate the publication of scientific articles written by lecturers/researchers based on their research results/thinking. Three of the 10 journals at FEB UI – Indonesian Journal of Accounting and Finance (JAKI), Indonesian Capital Market Review (ICMR) and Asean Marketing Journal (AMJ) – are accredited by DIKTI.

1. Asia Pacific Journal of Accounting and Finance (APJAF)

APJAF is committed to encouraging a forum for debate on matters related to accounting and finance. Articles may discuss particular issues that cover all aspects of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Governance, Sustainability Reporting, Auditing, Public Sector Accounting, Taxation, Information System, Accounting Education, Sharia Accounting, Financial Management, Ethics and Professionalism, Capital Market Research, Banking, and Corporate Finance. Articles must address issues relevant to the above topics. Discussion must reflect conceptual competence in one or more disciplines. Cross-discipline discussion and readability is encouraged.

Articles should be between 5000 and 7000 words. Materials submitted for publication in APJAF must not have been submitted to other publications. The APJAF Review Panel Committee has the final decision on acceptance for publication.

2. Indonesian Journal of Accounting and Finance (Jurnal Akutansi dan Keuangan Indonesia, JAKI)

The Indonesian Journal of Accounting and  Finance (JAKI) is a biannual publication published by the Department of Accounting Science, FEB UI. The journal facilitates the publication of research results and thinking on accounting and/or finance relevant to the development of the profession and accounting practices in Indonesia. JAKI is accredited as “B” based on Director General of Higher Education Decision Letter No. 80/DIKTI/Kep/2012 for the period 2012-2017. ISSN: 1829-8494.

3. Indonesian Capital Market Review (ICMR)

The Indonesian Capital Market Review (ICMR) is dedicated to exploring, disseminating and discussing the latest issues and developments of capital markets, particularly those related or relevant to the advancement of Indonesia’s capital market. The mission of the editorial board of ICMR is to present the latest thinking and research that test, extend, and develop management theories or those that contribute to capital market practices. Of particular interest are contributions that share experience and suggest innovative solutions to ongoing or new concerns of those interested in capital market issues. Please also keep in mind that the ICMR has an international readership.

Manuscripts must satisfy ICMR’s publication requirements for strong empirical and theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the capital market. ICMR gives preference to submissions that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks and empirically examine issues of utmost importance to capital market theories and practices. 4. Asean Marketing Journal (AMJ)

AMJ is dedicated to exploring, disseminating and discussing the latest issues and developments of marketing, particularly those related or relevant to the advancement of marketing in ASEAN. The mission of the editorial board of AMJ is to present the latest thinking and research that test, extend, and develop management theories or those that contribute to marketing practices. Of particular interest are contributions that share experience and suggest innovative solutions to ongoing or new concerns of those interested in marketing issues.  5. The South East Asian Journal of Management (SEAM)

The South East Asian Journal of Management (SEAM) aims to present the latest thinking and research that test, extend, or build management theories and contribute to management practices. Contents of the Journal are of interest to management teachers, students and researchers as well as to practicing managers. Materials should be analytical rather than descriptive. While the main focus of the Journal is on Asian countries and their management issues, increasingly, global concerns and conceptual topics are also covered.

The Journal does not take a narrow view of business and management and will publish articles about other disciplines if they contribute significantly to finding/offering solutions to the problems faced by managers and researchers. Only manuscripts that meet the SEAM’s publication requirements for strong empirical and theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the management field will be considered for acceptance. 6. Journal Of Population (JoP)

The Journal of Population is an official journal of the Demographic Institute, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. It is a peer-review journal that seeks innovative articles that enrich scientific literature in demographic and population studies. It also welcomes integrative articles that link subfields of social and economic sciences, geography, biology and public health. Research studies and commentaries on articles previously published in this journal will be considered for publication. Papers presented in seminars/conferences or published in proceedings not under copyright will be welcome; the themes of the seminars/conferences and the volume/page number(s) of the proceedings should be mentioned. 7. Journal of Economic Policies (Jurnal Kebijakan Ekonomi, JKE)

The Journal of Economic Policies (Jurnal Kebijakan Ekonomi, JKE) is a scientific publication of research results, studies in and analyses of public policies on the economy and other related issues, such as education, health, and the environment. The Journal publishes case studies on successful regional development efforts and articles about practical methodology relevant to regional development. JKE is published by the Graduate Program in Public Planning and Policy (MPKP-FEB UI) to facilitate the publication of articles related to local, regional and national public policy issues written by academicians, decision-makers at central and regional governments, the private sector, as well as experts. The JKE is published biannually in April and October.

JEPI was first published by the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics of the University of Indonesia in 2000; it is published biannually in January and June. 9. Economics And Finance In Indonesia (EFI)

Economics and Finance in Indonesia is published with financial support from the Institute for Economic and Social Research, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (LPEM FEB UI). Neither the Institute nor the University is responsible for the views expressed by the authors.

The journal was first published in 1948 under the name “Maandblad voor Financien”. The journal facilitates the publication of quality research papers on the Indonesian economy. To communicate the findings of research by Indonesian economists to a wider international readership, LPEM FEB UI decided to transform the journal into a peer-reviewed journal that only publishes articles in English and renamed it Economics and Finance in Indonesia (EFI). The new journal is expected to serve as a suitable forum for fruitful academic exchanges between Indonesian economists and their overseas colleagues.

10. Manajemen Usahawan Indonesia (MUI)

The Indonesian Business Management (Manajemen Usahawan Indonesia, MUI) is a bimonthly journal aimed at developing and disseminating management sciences and skills to increase the strength and output of Indonesian companies/organizations.
