DEPOK – (2/9/2021) In the context of gratitude for 40 years of togetherness, alumni of the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia Class of 81 (FEDESA) held a series of events, including giving appreciation to FEB UI educational staff (Tendik) who have worked for 20 years and more, and submission of a copy of the Cooperation Agreement for the renovation of the IE Building project room, FEB UI. The event took place at Selasar, Dean’s Building, on Thursday (2/9/2021).

Deputy Dean II for Resources, Ventures and General Administration, Dr. Gede Harja Wasistha, representing FEB UI, in his speech appreciated the contributions made by alumni of Class 81 or FEDESA. During the Covid-19 pandemic, UI and FEB must prioritize priority programs, so that room renovations have not received enough attention. On that occasion, Dr. Gede also conveyed the forms of cooperation needed from alumni, such as facilitating FEB UI students who will carry out internship programs, providing knowledge in the form of public lectures or guest lectures, so as to establish closeness between the academic and practical worlds.

To the Tendik who have served 20 years and more (a total of 120 people, 4 people were represented that day), Dr. Gede expressed his appreciation for their service for their beloved campus and appreciated the attention from FEDESA.

FEDESA representative, Rara Rengganis Dewi, expressed her gratitude on behalf of FEDESA because the FEB UI team has made the event of gratitude for 40 years of being an alumni of FEUI a success. “FEDESA held a series of reunion events, one of which was an appreciation of the FEB UI program, then renovated the project room, which is located in the Department of Economics FEB UI Building, as well as a webinar with speakers from FEDESA alumni, namely Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahendra Siregar, and UI Rector Ari Kuncoro, and others.” Rara said. Appreciation to the Tendik was given in the form of items needed  for work during the pandemic, namely in the form of a set of lunchboxes, tumblers, thermal bags, dates, and funds which will be transferred to each recipient’s account.

The activity continued with the signing of the Minutes of Handover of 120 souvenirs for the students by Syahnan Poerba (FEDESA) to the Deputy Dean II, and Suryo Handoko (FEDESA) presenting awards to 4 FEB UI Tendik, namely Budi Astuti from the Learning Resources Center, Sukatno Bin Sukiman from the Bureau of Education, Fahrudin from the KKI Study Program, and Slamet from the Department of Management. Furthermore, Triandy Suyatman (FEDESA) submitted a copy of the Cooperation Agreement for the renovation of the project room as a symbol of FEDESA’s contribution to FEB UI.
