This event aims to invite young people to implement the values of Pancasila to care for national unity in order to bring Indonesia’s glory in various aspects.

The Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud Md spoke about being fair and just. For Mahfud, fair and just different. What is the difference?
Initially Mahfud called ‘just’ as a noun and ‘just’ as the process. However, according to him, there are significant differences from the two words.

“There is a difference like this. The ‘just’ is to give something to humans as a person (or) personal, while the ‘justice’ is to many people (or) plural so that more social connotation of justice. If ‘fair’ is more personal connotation, “said Mahfud in a Fun Talk at the University of Indonesia (UI), Depok, Monday (02/17/2020).

In the 1945 Constitution, Mahfud said there are 4 words ‘just’ and ‘just’. The word he said is in paragraphs 1 to 4 in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution.

“The words” fair “and” fair “in the paragraphs of the 1945 Constitution are four times. In the first paragraph it is stated that in fact freedom is the right of all nations, therefore colonialism over the world must be abolished because it is not in accordance with humanity and justice. So independence is for justice, “said Mahfud.

The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD acknowledged that Indonesia’s current conditions have not yet entered the fair and prosperous stage.
Mahfud explained the requirements towards Gold Indonesia consisted of several categories, one of which was as an independent, sovereign, just and prosperous country for its people.

For independence and sovereignty, said Mahfud, Indonesia had met the requirements. Indonesian independence has been recognized since 1945 as well as its sovereignty. Other countries in the world have recognized the sovereignty of the archipelago.

It’s just fair and prosperous admitted Mahfud has not happened in Indonesia in 2020.

In fact, the current government has declared that Indonesia could be included in the category of developed countries in the world in the coming 2045 along with the achievement of the Golden Indonesia mission.

“We are a big nation, which is ready to enter Indonesia Gold in 2045, provided we can be free and united as a sovereign just and prosperous,” he said.
