FEB UI Held a Free Health Check

DEPOK – Post Development of Non-Communicable Diseases Integrated Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (Posbindu PTM FEB UI) conducts free medical examinations for FEB UI Lecturers and Education Workers in collaboration with the UI Satellite Clinic on Wednesday 29 January 2020 at Selasar FEB UI Depok, limited to 50 registrants.

Posbindu PTM FEB UI is a healthy campus program and is an activity of UI community participation in monitoring and early detection of risk factors for non-communicable diseases in the UI environment. Its activities include examining Body Mass Index (BMI), Height, Weight, Stomach Circumference, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Uric Acid, and Cholesterol by filling out data online through Google Form to facilitate the recording of health data in UI.

The results of the medical examination can be consulted directly with Dr. Dessy Witta from the Makara UI Satellite Clinic who was also present helped in this activity. Participants can consult directly to get advice and input from doctors. “From the results of the examination, the majority of complaints experienced by participants were overweight and cholesterol,” said Dr. Dessy Witta. Participants are expected to pay more attention to their health conditions both with a healthy diet, physical activity or regular exercise and adequate rest.

Furthermore, this health inspection program will be used as a routine activity every 3 months. With this health check, it is expected that all can be more attentive in maintaining his health and fitness so that it will have a positive impact on performance at FEB UI. “With this health inspection activity, it is hoped that FEB UI residents can find out about their health condition, more aware of the importance of maintaining health and also the activity can be attended by many participants,” said Anas as a Member of Posbindu PTM FEB UI.(Des)
