Guest Lecture About Strategic Change Management

On March 20, 2018, PPIM FEB UI received a guest lecture from Jennifer Grafton, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Management and Accounting and Associate Dean (Global Management) for the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne, Australia.

The lecture was held at the Pascasarjana Building FEB UI, UI Depok Campus. The topic of the guest lecture was “Managing Strategic Change: The Role of Performance Measurement and Control Systems”. Ms. Jennifer discussed her recent research on strategic change management and how performance measurement and control systems matter in strategic management as they support the process of strategic change within organizations. The findings of the study show that firms who are faced with resource constraints are more likely to engage in strategic change, thus using strategic planning tools more intensely.

It was an insightful lecture and hopefully the PPIM students gain new knowledge after the lecture 🙂
