On 28th January 2019, Department of Economics FEB UI held Intensive course program about public policy related to Transportation. This course is first part of long-term collaboration agreement between School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (SBE-VU) and FEB-UI. The Urban and Regional.

On this day Prof.Dr. Erik T Verhoef from Department of Spatial Economics VU University gave a lecture about External Effects and Pigouvian Taxation. He talked about Today’s traffic congestion and analyzed it from the economic perspective such as demand for trips and supply as highway capacity, equilibrium efficiency, externalities using curve and mathematical models.

This Course is a fantastic opportunity to learn about transportation economics and especially will help the adjustment process for prospective students who have the potential to continue master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) programmes at SBE-VU and FEB-UI. ( IO FEB – YTS)
