Global Network Weeks (GNW) UI – March 2018

This coming March 12th – 16th, 750 students travelling from 18 schools across the Global Network for Advanced Management will study during Global Network Week (GNW) 2018. They will discover and analyze at Renmin University how fintech is shaping China’s financial sector?, What’s the best way of market products in Latin American countries at EGADE Business School. And at IIM Bangalore, how you create inclusive business models to serve the poorest residents in India?

This year, students in Jakarta will learn from the Master of Management Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia how digital entrepreneurship empowers women. The students will get the opportunity to discuss the topic with key persons from the government as the regulator, the expertise in their field and off course practitioners from the related Industry.

Global Network Weeks (GNW) provides opportunities for the world’s leading business school students incorporated in Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) to share knowledge and experience in solving regional and global business problems. This activity is formulated in the form of seminars, discussions, training; company visits and meets with experts and successful businessmen. GNW takes place simultaneously throughout the GNAM members of more than 30 leading business schools in the world, initiated by Yale School of Management.

GNW MM-FEB UI March 2018, “Women and Digital Entrepreneurship” will take place in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, the event will be participated by MM-FEB UI Students and 21 delegates from GNAM member business schools such as IIM Bangalore, UBC Sauder School of Business, ICS Hitotsubashi University, EGADE Business School, Renmin University of China, GSB University of Cape Town, Yale School of Management and Seoul National Business School.

The students are scheduled to meet key persons at Cyber village in Yogyakarta, DOWA and will learn Indonesian culture and arts. They will also be indulged to see Borobudur and Prambanan Temple as well as visiting Javanese traditional museum Ullen Sentantu.
